Detection and correction of customs inconsistencies Position: Import Assistant Company: PDH Location: Umán, Yucatán Job Description: At PDH, we are looking for an Import Assistant with attention to detail and knowledge of customs procedures to ensure proper compliance with regulations and efficient control of foreign trade operations. Main Responsibilities: Preparation and submission of Value Declarations (MVE) based on supporting documentation (invoices, contracts, packing lists, etc.). Review, classification, and validation of import and export customs entries in accordance with the Customs Law. Verification of tariff classifications, as well as non-tariff regulations and restrictions. Coordination with traffic departments and customs agents for proper file compilation. Detection and correction of inconsistencies prior to transmission in the customs system. Updating and maintaining databases for internal and external audits. Requirements: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar position. Experience interacting with customs agents. Knowledge of customs entry classification. Preparation of Value Declaration (MVE). Organization, attention to detail, and follow-up skills.
