Grupo GOBA is seeking: Civil construction resident for Mérida, Yucatán Requirements * Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Architecture with title and license. * Proficiency in Word, Excel, AutoCad, Neodata. * Minimum of 4 years of experience in the position. * (Vertical buildings) * Personnel management. * Technical knowledge of construction processes. * Immediate availability to work on site. (Costa Mérida Yucatán, Km25\) Functions and responsibilities * Study and review the entire construction contract to detect anomalies in quantities or design. * Maintain on-site drawings, specifications, and all elements related to project execution. * Develop and keep updated necessary planning for project completion, including work completion schedules. * Prepare weekly production lump-sum estimates for subcontractors. * Prepare site progress reports. * Maintain a construction diary or logbook clearly recording extra works and anomalies. * Maintain proper communication with site supervision. * Verify requested materials and equipment are delivered on site timely and correctly. * Supervise and coordinate work execution ensuring quality standards. * Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations. * Monitor material testing and strength tests. * Define the construction method ensuring acceptable productivity levels and preventing deterioration of completed works. * Issue change orders for extra works, etc. We offer: Statutory benefits Monthly salary $20,000 to $26,000 / Negotiable based on experience.
