**Job Summary:**
Performs equipment maintenance while ensuring safety, performance, and availability standards. This position ensures plant equipment availability—primarily welding machines—and conducts failure analysis using established methodologies, initiates continuous improvement projects, collaborates with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain), and develops and maintains procedures for project implementation according to availability and need.
**What You'll Do:**
* Ensure primary availability of cranes installed in the plant.
* Perform failure analysis on critical equipment (M\&E).
* Request and track spare parts for machinery and equipment.
* Track requisition approvals.
* Develop and execute cost-saving and continuous improvement projects.
* Generate and execute planned maintenance schedules.
* Initiate, track, and close production notifications.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MIG and TIG welding equipment.
* Ensure machinery maintenance maintains optimal operating conditions.
**Required Education:**
A completed technical degree specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering—or a related field—is required. Candidates currently completing a bachelor’s degree in a related field will also be considered.

* Ability to adjust welding parameters based on material type.
**Preventive Maintenance:**
* Knowledge of equipment maintenance administration and planning.
* Ability to apply failure analysis methodologies.
**Additional Information:**
* This position is located in Reynosa, MX.
* Availability for shift rotation is required.
* Flexibility and availability as needed are required.
