




Position Summary: Element is seeking an NDT ETCH Technician to join its team, performing routine and non-routine tests under direct supervision to ensure accurate and timely results. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct tests according to customer specifications 2. Evaluate test results and generate reports 3. Maintain the assigned area clean and organized (5S) Overview: Element has an opportunity for an **NDT ETCH** Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the ETCH Technician performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the assigned department and ensures accurate and timely test results under direct supervision. ETCH Technician positions must be competent in a range of core business skills, including but not limited to adherence to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for activities in the Macroetching area, including: * Preparing parts for corresponding tests (Material Handling, Cleaning / Visual Inspection / Setup). * Conducting tests as specified by customer requirements and relevant documents (DataCard / Techniques / ScanPlans). * Performing daily internal reviews and calibrations as required (Water changes / Chemical changes / Penetrant liquid changes). * Ensuring use of calibrated equipment and recording daily control checks. * Evaluating test results and generating corresponding reports. * Collecting and recording test data for Certificate generation. * Maintaining traceability of performed tests (Correct SN marking or as applicable). * Training apprentices on the method for which the technician is certified, when required. * Performing assigned maintenance on equipment within the area, as well as maintaining equipment and tools in good condition to ensure proper operation. * Supporting internal and external process audits. * Attending scheduled courses required for the position (Safety, Quality, Material Handling, Technical Training). * Maintaining zero accident rate by working safely with appropriate equipment. * Maintaining the assigned area clean and organized (5S). * Supporting other areas as directed by Management or Supervisor. Skills / Qualifications: Competencies and Skills * Practical knowledge of laboratory safety * High school diploma or technical school diploma preferred * Minimum 1 year of experience in a related testing field * Analysis and collection of data from performed tests * Basic understanding of testing concepts * Proficiency in computer skills (Windows and basic Office applications) * Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts preferred * Forklift, crane, and hoist operation experience preferred * Ability to read and write descriptively Company Overview: Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
