Work environment focused on quality and continuous improvement We are seeking a **Lathe and Milling Machine Operator** to perform turning and milling operations on metal parts, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, tolerances, and customer specifications, while maintaining a focus on quality, organization, and safety. **Responsibilities** * Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Perform turning and milling operations on conventional machines. * Verify that parts meet dimensional requirements, tolerances, and acceptance criteria. * Optimize material utilization during the machining process. * Maintain raw materials and work-in-progress parts in good condition. * Support other departmental processes as directed by the supervisor. * Carry out 5S activities—organization, classification, and cleaning—according to the 5S program. * Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). * Adjust cutting parameters according to material and tooling requirements. * Submit requisitions for raw materials or tools as needed. * Report any nonconformities detected to the prior department (Design or Engineering). **Requirements** * **Education:** Completed secondary school * **Minimum experience:** 2 years as a lathe and milling machine operator * Knowledge of and ability to apply the **5S** program. * Proficiency operating machine tools: * Conventional lathe * Conventional milling machine * Bench drill * Tool grinder * Measurement knowledge (vernier caliper, micrometer, dial indicator). **We Offer** Growth opportunity Job stability Work environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.
