Contribute to payroll processing, tax calculation, and compliance. **THE NEARSHORE COMPANY** Matamoros is hiring: **JUNIOR PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT** **REQUIREMENTS**: Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in the position **KNOWLEDGE IN**: IMSS INFONAVIT SAT SUA IDSE LFT Payroll systems Office (Excel, Word, etc.) **COMPETENCIES**: Teamwork Initiative Effective communication Goal- and objective-oriented work **RESPONSIBILITIES**: * Prepare and calculate payroll according to applicable personnel work instructions. * Generate weekly, monthly, and annual payroll accumulations and their provision journal entries. * Submit weekly, monthly, and annual payroll accumulations to the Payroll Supervisor. * Calculate severance payments, final settlements upon termination or contract renewal. * Verify tax calculations (ISR, IMSS) and other payroll deductions. * Calculate and apply INFONAVIT loan withholdings to the payroll system according to INFONAVIT’s bimonthly settlement. * Calculate and apply FONACOT loan withholdings to the payroll system according to FONACOT’s monthly settlement. * Generate, via the payroll system, the electronic card-based food voucher report on a weekly basis. * Send payroll slips, salary statements, and cash final settlements by email to each plant. * Stamp payroll electronically with SAT every week. * Release pre\-payroll. * Archive the pre\-payroll files of the week already processed for payment. * Electronically store CFDI \- weekly payroll files. * Enter bank account numbers and food voucher numbers into the payroll system to ensure correct payment processing. * Calculate bimonthly and monthly social security and INFONAVIT contributions. * Process FONACOT settlements. * Generate the weekly payroll disbursement report (ASCI). **BENEFITS**: Competitive salary, paid weekly Savings fund and food vouchers Job stability and professional growth Ongoing training All candidates meeting the profile must apply with an updated CV and location details; they will be contacted via email and/or WhatsApp to schedule a phone interview.
