Culture of continuous improvement and high performance **Summary** Core Molding Technologies is hiring a **Controller Assistant** to support financial operations at our Matamoros plant. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial information, regulatory compliance, and strengthening of internal controls, collaborating with Accounting, Operations, and Corporate Finance teams. **Responsibilities** * Support preparation of **monthly financial statements** * Oversee **accounting records and bank reconciliations** * Participate in **monthly and annual closings** * Monitor and analyze **costs, expenses, and budgets** * Support management of **accounts receivable and accounts payable** * Ensure compliance with **Mexican tax and accounting regulations** * Collaborate on **internal and external audits** * Identify financial errors or inconsistencies * Maintain up-to-date accounting records * Prepare financial reports for management * Support **internal controls and process improvements** * Ensure confidentiality of financial information **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Certified Public Accountant (CPA equivalent) * 5\+ years of experience in accounting or finance within manufacturing *or* 1\+ year as Plant Controller * Experience in: + Accounts payable and accounts receivable + Costing and financial analysis + General accounting and payroll + Tax compliance in Mexico + Import/export regulations (US/MX) * Advanced English (bilingual required) * Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills * Ability to work with cross-functional teams **Preferred** * Experience in **maquiladoras** * Knowledge of **costing under US GAAP** * ERP system experience **Position Details** * **Schedule:** Monday to Friday * **Travel:** Limited * **Work Environment:** Plant \+ office * **Physical Requirements:** Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs **Why Join Us?** * Competitive compensation and benefits * Exposure to international financial operations (U.S. and Mexico) * Direct participation in business decision-making * Culture of continuous improvement and high performance **Recruitment Agencies** We do not accept unsolicited resumes from external agencies.
