We promote equality in selection, compensation, and professional development **Superintendent, Production Plan \& Control** **Summary** Responsible for determining the manufacturing operations required to produce products by reviewing part drawings, specifications, and other engineering data. Plans, schedules, executes, or coordinates phases of engineering projects. May develop operation sequences, estimate time requirements for each, and prepare operation sheets. At LDM, we are a professional, motivated, and committed team. **Key Responsibilities** * Update daily inventory in the system. * Collaborate with production supervisors. * Support maintenance of the computerized Inventory Control System, including manual data entry. * Track and maintain appropriate and complete daily log reports on discrepancies to resolve issues and report to and copy the Materials Supervisor. * Update daily production inventory in the system. * Update daily non-QB inventory transactions via inventory transfers (e.g., NCR; Shipping Request Forms; Goods Return Forms). * Correspond with appropriate personnel (supervisors) regarding discrepancies. * Prepare a weekly analysis report for the Materials Supervisor detailing root causes of errors. * Continuously update the cycle count matrix with changes to part numbers. * Prepare a monthly cycle count percentage summary. * Verify system accuracy using daily cycle counts per the ABC cycle count schedule. * Participate in monthly verification inventory: counting and label entries. * Participate in quarterly inventory: counting and label entries. * Customer relations. * Responsible for inventory levels (raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods). * Responsible for all foreign trade transactions within the Company, overseeing and subcontracting to the dedicated company supporting this function, ensuring full compliance with all applicable government regulations. * Ensure compliance with applicable elements of the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System related to your role. **Minimum Requirements** * Engineering degree. * 5 years of experience. **Desired Qualifications** * Knowledge of machining. * Computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Experience using statistical analysis, design, and manufacturing software. **Why Linamar?** * Opportunities to advance your career * Community outreach supporting local and global charitable initiatives and organizations * Social committees and sports teams * Events, including automotive supplier discounts * Cafeteria services * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * Respectful work environment * We promote equality in selection, compensation, and professional development Linamar Corporation is a diversified global manufacturing company specializing in high-engineering products.
