We are looking for a **Laboratory Technician** in Altamira.
The main objective is to analyze and evaluate raw materials to ensure their availability in the production process, as well as to qualify them for entities under SLA (Service Level Agreement). Perform physicochemical analyses on products derived from the Dispersions production process according to the inspection plan. Conduct evaluations, qualification, release and/or rejection of in-process and finished products based on our ED Laboratory Process Sheet. Follow established procedures and methods to ensure First-Time Quality (FTQ) in accordance with specifications defined by the customer/corporate. Ensure notifications regarding quality deviations arising from non-compliance with processes. In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Ensuring strict adherence to analytical methods and procedures defined in the risk analysis matrix, in compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards and corporate guidelines, to guarantee the reliability of laboratory analysis results.
* Updating inspection plans requested by process engineers. Using SAP to ensure product delivery within specification. Developing and implementing new products requested by customers to meet their specific needs, always applying continuous improvement.
* Preparing non-conformance notifications in the SAP system to record quality-related deviations found in products, raw materials, or any deviations resulting from failure to follow procedures.
* Creating purchase requisitions in the SAP system for laboratory consumables, laboratory consignment items, and chemicals to maintain laboratory inventory. Following up with suppliers to ensure timely and proper delivery.
* Participating in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and practices related to Integrated Responsibility (SARI) in performing job duties, aiming to protect one’s own and others’ health and safety, prevent environmental impact, and sustain business operations.
* Ensuring compliance with the measurement and testing equipment verification/calibration program, maintaining control charts and measurement records, and labeling equipment according to calibration reports.
