Comply with internal and external regulations, including those related to food. * Receiving and Shipping: Supervise truck unloading, inspect goods (quality, weight, packaging condition), and ensure proper placement. Organize order picking, verifying quantities and specifications are met. Coordinate logistics for shipment to customers or retail points. * Leadership and Staff Management: Direct, motivate, and train the warehouse team. Assign tasks, schedule shifts, and evaluate performance. * Organization and Maintenance: Ensure sugar is stored according to quality standards (preventing moisture, contamination, pests) and optimize space usage. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse. * Inventory Management: Track incoming (receipt of sacks/bags) and outgoing items, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date inventory records. Maintain detailed logs, often using warehouse management systems (WMS). Conduct periodic and cycle counts to identify discrepancies.
