In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and coordinating warehousing and distribution operations, contributing to our company’s success. **1\. WMS System Configuration and Administration** **General Responsibilities:** * Configure, update, and validate active warehouse locations within the WMS. * Generate new temporary or permanent locations as required by operational needs. * Manage data entry permissions and system access rights. * Verify alignment between physical storage space and system-defined locations. * Coordinate technical communication with the Head of Processes and Continuous Improvement regarding the operational impact of WMS configurations, ensuring proper alignment with operational team requirements. **2\. Optimization of Storage Space and Merchandise Allocation** **General Responsibilities:** * Analyze warehouse occupancy and propose reallocations based on turnover rates or seasonal campaigns. * Reconfigure system-defined spaces to free up storage zones and enable new areas. * Coordinate with your immediate supervisor and Warehouse Deputy Manager to implement physical reorganization strategies. * Manage and request system reconfigurations aligned with operational timelines, serving as the point of contact with the WMS team to ensure timely and accurate implementation. **3\. Operational Support and Monitoring of Goods Flow** **General Responsibilities:** * Monitor inbound, relocation, and outbound goods flow via the system. * Validate accuracy of location, quantity, and batch records. * Support Supervisors and Coordinators in resolving location-related errors or system blocks. * Generate reports on space utilization and location status. * Establish and maintain effective communication with supervisory and managerial levels across operational areas, supporting achievement of defined process objectives. **4\. Seasonal Management and Campaign Support** **General Responsibilities:** * Plan storage space requirements for holidays or seasonal periods in coordination with your immediate supervisor. * Adjust system configurations to open additional zones and register temporary inventory. * Coordinate subsequent space reassignment as demand decreases. **5\. Integrity Control and Continuous Improvement** **General Responsibilities:** * Identify location inconsistencies and propose corrections to the Systems or Inventory Control departments. * Collaborate in testing and validation of new WMS versions. * Document procedures and maintain a log of system configuration changes.
