Position Summary: An experienced General Accountant is sought to manage comprehensive accounting, prepare financial statements, control operations, and ensure compliance with tax regulations at an energy-sector company. Experience in hydrocarbon transportation companies or regulated sectors Energy-sector company based in Reynosa seeks: Main Responsibilities: ● Comprehensive management of the company’s general accounting. ● Preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements. ● Accounting control of transportation operations, operating costs, and fixed assets (fleet). ● Tax compliance and filing of federal and state tax returns. ● Handling and follow-up of internal and external audits. ● Coordination and supervision of the accounting team. ● Control of bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. ● Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and financial regulations for regulated companies. Requirements: ● Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (degree conferred). ● Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a General Accountant. ● Mandatory experience in hydrocarbon transportation companies, specialized logistics, or highly regulated sectors (gas stations, gas distribution companies).
