Job Summary: We are seeking a backend developer expert in C# and SQL with a strong quality mindset to maintain and optimize applications, integrate data, migrate processes to AWS, and innovate with AI. You will be responsible for: * **Backend Development:** Maintaining applications in C# (.NET Core/6+ and legacy .NET Framework) and optimizing Windows Services. * **Data Integration:** Automating ingestion and processing of files (XML, CSV, EDI) via FTP, SFTP, and FTPS. * **Cloud Architecture:** Designing and migrating legacy processes to scalable AWS architectures (Lambda, S3, SQS, EventBridge). * **SQL Server Expertise:** Schema design, writing complex Stored Procedures, and performance tuning. * **AI Innovation:** Leveraging generative AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development and automate workflows with OCR/Document AI. **Technical Requirements (Must-Have)** * **Languages:** C# (Expert) and SQL (Advanced). * **Frameworks:** .NET Framework 4.8+, .NET Core 6/8, ASP.NET Web API. * **Cloud (AWS):** Experience with Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and CloudWatch. * **Database:** SQL Server 2016+ (T-SQL, index optimization). * **QA & Testing:** Solid experience in unit testing (xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest) and mocking libraries. * **Protocols:** Deep understanding of FTP/SFTP (SSH.NET, FluentFTP). * **Architecture:** Solid experience with Windows Services and their lifecycle. **Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Have)** * Experience in Logistics, Customs, or Financial sectors (handling EDI files/Annex 24). * Knowledge of CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline). **Soft Skills** * **Autonomy:** Ability to translate abstract requirements into technical solutions without micromanagement. * **Problem Solving:** Analytical ability to diagnose production issues (logs, metrics). * **Communication:** Clear progress reporting and ability to document APIs. **Position Details** * **Work Mode:** 100% Remote (Prefer Central/Mexico Time Zone). +2 * **Duration:** Indefinite project. * **Contract Type:** Freelance / Service Provision. * **Benefits:** Flexible working hours, objective-based management, and the opportunity to work on the transition from on-premise systems to serverless.
