Job Summary: We are seeking a design engineering assistant to manage and update bill of materials (BOM) and provide support in reviewing drawings and technical documentation. Key Highlights: 1. Support in reviewing drawings and technical documentation **AYCO – A leading bus-body manufacturer in its sector.** **WE ARE SEEKING: DESIGN ENGINEERING ASSISTANT** We are looking for an assistant with interest in product development and support to the engineering department. The primary responsibilities will include managing and updating the bill of materials (BOM), as well as supporting the review of drawings and technical documentation. * Technical degree in industrial design, computer-aided drafting (CAD), industrial mechanics, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or related field. * Incomplete engineering degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial design, or related field. **Experience** * Review drawings and technical documentation to generate or update the BOM. * Register new materials or components in the system. * Validate information with engineering when design changes occur. * Control versions and update modification history. * Identify obsolete or duplicate materials. * Ensure information alignment with production and procurement processes. * Report inconsistencies detected in technical documentation. * Maintain organization and traceability of files related to the BOM. **Knowledge** * **Proficiency in AUTOCAD, ANSYS, or SOLIDWORKS.** * **Drawing interpretation** * **Materials** * **Manufacturing processes** **We Offer** * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * Monday to Friday work schedule Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term Salary: Starting at $14,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Savings fund * Option for indefinite-term contract * Discounted cafeteria service * Grocery vouchers Application Question(s): * Expected salary Work Location: On-site employment
