Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **About the Position:** Implements and evaluates welding training programs for employees, ensuring development of technical skills, compliance with safety standards, and work quality according to internal standards. **Responsibilities:** * Identify welding training needs based on plant requirements, processes, and quality standards. * Apply appropriate teaching methods (theoretical and practical) to develop welding competencies (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, or others as applicable). * Develop instructional materials, manuals, visual guides, and hands-on exercises focused on technical learning. * Train new welders and reinforce knowledge of existing staff regarding techniques, industrial safety, and procedures. * Evaluate trainees’ technical performance through practical tests, visual inspections, and required documentation. * Ensure all practices comply with safety regulations, company policies, and standards such as AWS, ASME, or internal standards. * Record progress, attendance, internal certifications, and improvement recommendations. * Assist in identifying performance gaps related to welding skill. **Required Education:** * Technical high school diploma in welding or related field. **Required Skills:** **Consulting:** Provides technical guidance to employees on welding topics, processes, and best practices. * Explains their role as a technical advisor in correctly applying welding techniques. * Identifies key phases for evaluating a welding process and proposing improvements. * Maintains a professional image when interacting with operators, technicians, and supervisors. * Clearly describes the welding procedure and its relationship to internal customer outcomes. **Welding Training Needs Analysis:** Evaluating technical gaps related to welder skill. * Identifies key activities in conducting a welding process training needs analysis. * Lists tools used: practical tests, visual inspections, internal audits. * Describes the purpose of the analysis: safety, quality, repeatability. * Supports activities to define organizational training needs. **Delivery of Technical Training:** Ability to deliver safe, hands-on welding training. * Adapts training based on group or individual learner response. * Selects appropriate methods for theoretical and practical sessions. * Conducts courses using real-world exercises, functional equipment, and safe workshops. * Defines objectives for each session (e.g., straight bead, fillet weld, out-of-position welding). * Documents and reports issues during practice (e.g., defective equipment, inconsistencies). **Development of Technical Training Solutions:** Designing programs that address real process needs. * Supervises development of the training plan throughout its entire lifecycle. * Contributes to creation of theory-practice modules aligned with requirements. * Selects most effective tools: practice parts, parameters, instructional materials. * Analyzes successful examples from internal programs or industry. * Assists in estimating development costs (materials, consumables, practice hours). **Additional Information:** * This position is located in Santa Catarina. * Schedule: Monday through Saturday. * Relocation assistance is not provided. * **2 temporary positions.** **Final Details:** Please regularly check the email associated with your application, including your spam/junk folder, as this is our primary method of communication.
