




Work Schedule: \-Monday to Saturday (Saturday until noon) **Academic Qualifications:** * *Education*: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Food Technology, or related fields. * *Certifications*: Certification in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is desirable, as well as knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 22000. **Experience:** * *Work Experience*: Minimum 3\-5 years of experience in similar positions within the food industry, preferably in meat production or value-added product manufacturing. * *Process Knowledge*: Experience managing meat production processes—from raw material receipt through to final product packaging and distribution. * *Team Management*: Prior experience supervising and leading production teams. **Technical Skills:** * *Production Management*: Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and control. Ability to optimize processes and reduce downtime. * *Food Safety Knowledge*: Solid understanding of quality and food safety standards applicable to the meat industry. * *Software Proficiency*: Competence in using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and production management software. * *Cost Control*: Ability to manage production budgets and control operational costs. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **1**. Production Planning and Scheduling: * Develop production plans: Create production schedules based on market demand, raw material availability, and installed capacity. * Resource allocation: Ensure resources (raw materials, personnel, machinery) are available at the right time to meet production plans. * Line balancing: Optimize production line balance to maximize efficiency and minimize idle time. 2\. Production Process Supervision and Control: * Continuous monitoring: Monitor production processes in real time to ensure compliance with quality and efficiency standards. * Quality control: Coordinate with the quality control team to guarantee that the final product meets established specifications and standards. * Shift management: Organize and manage staff work shifts to ensure continuous production. 3\. Personnel Management: * Training: Organize and facilitate staff training on production procedures, machinery operation, and food safety regulations. * Supervision and leadership: Supervise operational staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a safe and productive work environment. * Performance evaluation: Conduct periodic performance evaluations of staff and provide feedback to improve productivity. 4\. Inventory and Supply Management: * Inventory management: Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels to ensure adequate flow for production without excess stock. * Supplier coordination: Collaborate closely with the procurement department to ensure timely supply of high-quality raw materials. 5\. Process Optimization: * Continuous improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency. * Production analysis: Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions. * New technology implementation: Evaluate and implement new technologies and methods that can improve production efficiency and quality. 6\. Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: * Regulatory compliance: Ensure all production processes comply with local and international food safety and quality regulations. * Inspections and audits: Prepare for and coordinate internal and external inspections and audits, ensuring conformity with industry standards. 7\. Cost and Budget Management: * Cost control: Monitor and control production costs, continuously seeking ways to reduce expenses without compromising quality. * Budgeting: Participate in developing the production budget and ensure operations remain within budgetary limits. 8\. Interdepartmental Communication and Coordination: * Coordination meetings: Attend meetings with other departments—including logistics, sales, and maintenance—to align objectives and activities. * Reporting: Prepare and present production reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and improvement proposals. 9\. Occupational Health and Safety: * Safety measures implementation: Ensure all workers comply with safety regulations and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). * Incident investigation: Oversee investigations of any incidents or accidents occurring in the plant and implement corrective actions. 10\. Innovation and New Product Development: * Product development: Collaborate with the R\+D department to test and launch new value-added products. * Pilot testing: Organize and supervise pilot tests of new products or processes. 11\. Sustainability Management: * Waste reduction: Implement practices to minimize raw material and resource waste during production. * Sustainability: Promote sustainable production practices, such as energy-efficient operations and responsible waste management.
