Description **Grupo Delmex**, a Mexican company focused on the transformation and commercialization of steel-derived products for the metal-mechanical and light construction industries. **We are seeking: Conventional Lathe Operator** **Profile** · Education: Professional degree or Technical career. · Flexible working hours. · Minimum 3 years’ experience operating conventional lathes. · Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and tolerances. · Knowledge of materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum). · Proficiency in using measuring tools: vernier caliper, micrometer, telescopic gauge, scriber, square. · Availability to work Monday through Saturday. · Ability to manufacture parts from samples and adjust dimensions in real time. **Responsibilities** Operate conventional lathe safely and precisely. Fabricate new parts and repair existing components. Verify dimensions and ensure strict adherence to tolerances. Perform basic lathe maintenance (lubrication, adjustments, cleaning). Select appropriate cutting tools, RPM, and feed rates. Sharpen cutting tools and control surface finish.
