A Senior Professional position applies advanced knowledge of a job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.**Responsibilities** ==================== Responsibilities: * Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision * Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals * Supports continuous improvement/automation activities * Plans and coordinates maintenance engineering work, including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications * Performs engineering review of proposed new equipment designs to assess reliability, ease of maintenance, and availability of replacement parts * Liaises with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules * Participates in the installation and commissioning of new equipment * Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders * Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications: n/a**Minimum Qualifications** ========================== Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience **What We Offer as a Company** At Bridgestone, what truly matters is creating opportunities for co\-creation, while fostering your curiosity and creativity to make mobility safer, more efficient, and more sustainable for present and future generations.
