JOB TITLE: PROJECTS SUPERVISOR LOCATION: AKZO NOBEL GARCÍA PLANT **JOB PURPOSE** * Ensure quality, safety, and productivity conditions during engineering project construction. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Manage processes and documentation required for engineering construction execution. * Ensure timely and proper design and execution of capital investment projects. * Design processes focused on cost, time, and waste reduction while increasing added value. * Identify new critical elements arising from new projects or modifications and properly document and transfer such information to SER. * Responsible for compliance with HSE\&S requirements in process manufacturing improvement projects. * Permanent member of the risk assessment team with authority to sign work permits. * Supervise and ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards for field construction works. * Maintain an ongoing culture of safety, order, and cleanliness in the field. * Coordinate with contractors on field operation details. * Resolve or escalate abnormal situations occurring at construction sites. * Coordinate creation and management of work permits with contractors. * Contribute to a continuous improvement culture by proposing improvements to project administration practices, primarily at the field level. * Support the engineering team with installation activities when required. * Continuously drive improvement in engineering project management. **REQUIREMENTS** * Minimum 3–5 years of experience. * Availability to work on weekends, one rest day. * High degree of responsibility. * Operational discipline. * High adherence to safety rules. * Development potential. * Negotiation skills. * Ability to supervise field personnel. * Intermediate-level civil construction knowledge. * Intermediate-level electrical construction knowledge. * Intermediate-level floor mechanical knowledge. * Intermediate/Advanced blueprint and diagram reading skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Personnel management skills. * Industrial safety knowledge. **EDUCATION** * Engineering degree in fields related to this position.
