Job Summary: We are seeking an Automation Engineer to develop, integrate, and maintain monitoring and control systems for industrial machinery and processes, participating in automation, data visualization, and industrial system connectivity projects. Work environment focused on technological innovation We seek an Automation Engineer with experience in SCADA and MES systems, HMI interface development, and at least one or two years of experience working with the Ignition platform or similar systems for industrial SCADA / MES application development. The candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining monitoring and control systems for industrial machinery and processes, participating in automation, data visualization, and industrial system connectivity projects. **Responsibilities** * End\-to\-end development of features and projects (frontend, backend, and integration) * Development of HMI interfaces and SCADA applications using Ignition / Node\-RED * Creation of monitoring screens, dashboards, and alarms in Ignition (Perspective or Vision) * Integration of PLCs with Ignition via OPC UA or other industrial protocols * Configuration of industrial communications (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, Profinet, etc.) * Development of SQL queries and management of industrial databases for process data storage * Python scripting * Proposal of technical improvements during execution * Technical support to the team as needed * Documentation of program changes, diagrams, and configurations **Requirements / Education** * Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field **Minimum Experience** * 2\-4 years of experience working with SCADA / MES systems * Experience with industrial historians * Experience in industrial process dashboards and analytics **Technical Knowledge** * Ignition platform (Perspective) * OPC UA integration with PLCs * Intermediate knowledge of industrial protocols * Intermediate SQL for data queries * Integration with systems, APIs, and databases **Desirable Skills** * Knowledge of MES or digital manufacturing systems * Basic experience with cloud platforms such as AWS * Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and/or Node.js **Personal Skills** * Analytical thinking * Problem solving * Teamwork * Clear technical communication * Proactivity **We Offer** * Participation in Industry 4\.0 and industrial digitalization projects * Professional development in advanced automation and industrial systems * Work environment focused on technological innovation * Competitive salary commensurate with experience Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $28,000\.00 \- $34,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Company parking * Option for indefinite-term contract * Major medical expense insurance * Life insurance * Remote work * Additional vacation days or paid leave Work Location: On-site employment
