**Position Objective**
Lead, coordinate, and prioritize engineering projects from the design phase through field execution, ensuring compliance with schedules, costs, quality, and safety standards. This role requires a holistic business perspective, with the ability to align engineering efforts with operational and commercial needs, guaranteeing order, tracking, and proper prioritization of the project portfolio.
**Working Hours**
* Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
* Occasional weekend availability only when required by the project (not permanent).
* Flexible working hours according to workload and project phase.
**Salary**
* $35,000 net per month.

* Willingness to travel to **Saltillo and Ramos Arizpe**, as well as visits to plants, workshops, and warehouses.
**Age Range**
* 25 to 50 years old.
**Education and Experience**
* Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering roles focused on:
* Industrial projects.
* Fluid mechanics: Ductwork design based on flow rates, flow velocities, and static pressure.
* Knowledge of pressure balancing, calculation of pressure losses, and determination of capture/transport velocities for contaminants.
* Fluid engineering and duct network design per **ACGIH** standards.
* Direct client interaction at plant sites.
* Coordination of internal multidisciplinary teams.
**Mandatory Technical Experience**
**1\. Fundamentals of Ventilation (ACGIH)**
* Proficiency in calculating airflow (CFM), velocity (fpm), and pressures (SP, VP, TP).
* Knowledge of minimum capture velocities.
* Proper design of hoods and duct systems.
**2\. Technical Selection of Filters and Collectors**
* Ability to select the appropriate collector type (cartridge, bag, etc.) based on:
* Type of dust.
* Temperature and humidity.
* Risk of static electricity or explosivity.
* Familiarity with filter media such as Ultra\-Web, Dura\-Life, Torit\-Tex, or equivalent alternatives.
**3\. Interpretation of Fan Performance Curves**
* Reading and interpreting CFM vs SP curves.
* Fan selection considering efficiency, noise level, operating temperature, and motor type (TEFC, ATEX).
**4\. Operation of Cleaning and Control Systems**
* Knowledge of technologies such as MaxPulse, iCue, and Delta P controllers.
* Understanding their impact on operational efficiency, maintenance, and compressed air consumption.
**5\. Dust Explosion Safety**
* Identification of explosive dusts using parameters such as Kst and Pmax.
* Application of NFPA 654, 68, and 69\ standards.
* Judgment to determine use of suppression or venting systems.
**6\. General Technical Knowledge**
* Technical drawing.
* Thermodynamics.
* Engineering calculations and criteria applicable to ventilation systems and industrial processes.
**Required Knowledge**

* Interpretation and preparation of drawings and calculation reports.
* Advanced knowledge of ventilation systems, airflow dynamics, and industrial processes.
* Solid understanding of standards and manuals such as ASHRAE and ACGIH.
* Intermediate or advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
* Ability to analyze production processes and operational workflows.
* General knowledge of manufacturing processes gained through visits to workshops and warehouses.

* Conduct on-site technical surveys with clients.
* Supervise correct project execution at field sites and workshops.
* Coordinate involved departments: engineering, production, procurement, and commercial.
* Define, enforce, and track project scheduling and prioritization.
* Ensure adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
* Review operational workflows and propose technical and operational improvements.
* Provide technical support to the commercial department when required.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Report progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management.
