Develops pricing strategies to meet customers' needs, and designs, implements and maintains pricing infrastructures. Evaluates effectiveness of pricing strategies and modifies pricing structures as needed and provides reporting and documentation.**This role in summary** ------------------------ Join our dynamic team as a **NAR Procurement, Target Costing Analyst**. In this critical role, you will ensure the timely completion of cost modeling, data analysis, and activities necessary to achieve target cost optimization of parts for new projects and carry over components, while maintaining high standards of supply availability and quality. You will ensure the predictability of costs throughout new product development partnering with key cross functions, not limited to Procurement, Engineering, and Cost Modeling. **Your responsibilities will include** -------------------------------------- * **Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** Complete cost analysis to drive structural cost reduction, improve free cash flow, and reduce complexity. * **Ensure Compliance:** Implement Sourcing and Procurement Methodologies in alignment with Whirlpool's Compliance \& Policy. * **Strategic Support for Product Development:** Provide competitive product cost knowledge and input to Product Teams throughout the Whirlpool Product Delivery (WPD) Process. * **Market Analysis \& Opportunity Identification:** Identify opportunities for cross\-regional sourcing within Commodity Management. Maintain current knowledge of competitor product sourcing, trends, and material cost performance. **Ad Hoc Support:** Provide cost modeling support as needed. **Minimum requirements** ------------------------ * Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Business, Finance, Supply Chain emphasis) * Relevant experience commensurate with role responsibilities * English language – Full Professional Proficiency * 3 years of experience in a procurement, operations, manufacturing, engineering, and/or supply chain environment. * Demonstrated practical use of manufacturing processes, supplier management, and sourcing principles **Preferred skills and experiences** ------------------------------------ * Experience managing projects in product development\-related functions (Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, etc); * Quantitative analysis/modeling capabilities. * Excellent communication skills, ability to lead/influence stakeholders, and clear, concise communication to all levels of the organization. * Expertise in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), including the ability to champion its adoption and integration into organizational processes, leverage calculation models for objective supplier selection, research and champion innovative TCO optimization solutions, and lead cross\-functional teams in supplier selection, design, and timing based on TCO analysis. * Financial analysis skills that center on understanding the financial impact of changes to design specification, manufacturing process, and supply chain costs are also required. * Exposure to Activity\-Based Costing methodologies * PMP or similar certification. * Experience in sourcing components and materials. * Familiarity with business functions, value streams, and project finance. * Proven experience in working with remote and multi\-cultural teams. * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. * Proficiency in Google Suite (Drive, Sheets/Excel) and modeling experience (CAD programs, product evaluation software, etc.) * Experience with Costing Software products * Creative problem\-solving skills and innovative thinking.
