Quality Inspector

Description

Job Summary: General assistant for quality inspector responsible for ensuring inspection and validation of raw materials and products at all stages. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure the quality of raw materials and finished products 2. Conduct inspections and validations at all process stages 3. Control held materials and scrap Ensure inspection and validation of all raw materials, first articles, in-process products, final products, and shipped products to meet customer requirements. Key Activities: * Receive and inspect raw materials used in processes * Approve first articles and engineering change releases for products * Perform inspection and validation of in-process, finished, and ready-to-ship products * Determine disposition of quarantined parts (rework, deviation, scrap) * Control held materials and scrap * Track materials for recovery * Complete records per quality department procedures as well as those required by processes and/or customers **12-HOUR SHIFTS, 8 AM TO 8 AM (rotating shift)** **General assistant for quality inspector; minimum education: junior high school (not engineers)** \*Salary includes overtime pay resulting from the 12-hour workday Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term Salary: $3,400\.00 \- $4,500\.00 per week Experience: * Quality control: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: On-site employment
