The Metrology Laboratory Operator supports manufacturing, logistics, and development teams, and is responsible for material and product inspection, testing, and laboratory equipment management.

**METROLOGY LABORATORY OPERATOR**
**Primary Job Purpose:**
Actively supports all teams in manufacturing, logistics, as well as material and product development, material testing, inspection, and verification.
**Responsibilities:**
* Responsible for material and product inspection and testing processes.
* Responsible for measurement/work, document number.
* Responsible for first and last piece testing (approval/release), document number.
* Responsible for laboratory equipment management (maintenance, handling procedures, calibrations, MSA).
* Responsible for calibration sample management (laboratory).
* Responsible for inspection instructions.
* Responsible for first and last piece inspection instructions.
* Responsible for maintaining a clean and appropriate laboratory environment for testing.
**Skill Requirements:**
* Education: Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
* In-depth knowledge of tolerance stack-up, datum systems, manufacturing techniques, and measurement methods.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Operation of projection instruments, tensile testing machines, CMM operation and programming, cleanliness testing, viscometer operation.
**Qualification Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive metrology**

**Work Schedule:**
Rotating shifts Monday to Friday
**Day Shift:** 7:00 AM to 4:36 PM
**Afternoon Shift:** 2:25 PM to 11:25 PM
**Night Shift:** 11:00 PM to 7:24 AM
