




Position Summary: Provide support for in-store operational floor activities by executing sales processes, merchandise placement, and customer service to meet performance indicators. Receive the tools and support needed to achieve success Provide support for in-store operational floor activities by executing operational processes related to sales, merchandise placement, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to achieve assigned store’s operational and commercial performance indicators. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in delivery trucks, following applicable merchandise placement guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor, to ensure accurate merchandise placement and optimal store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing, thereby delivering excellent service reflected in successful point-of-sale transactions; also handle customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions—including cash and card payments—and process returns in compliance with AutoZone’s cash handling policy to ensure effective payment processing and transaction completion for sales. * High school diploma or equivalent completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
