Delivery Driver (Construction Materials)

* **Position:** Driver \- Logistics * **Responsibilities:** * 1\. Driving and transportation: Drive company vehicles to transport materials, tools, furniture, or personnel. * 2\. Loading, unloading, and operational support: Participate in loading and unloading of materials, tools, or furniture. Properly arrange and secure cargo or equipment during transit. * 3\. Logistics and on-site or warehouse support: Assist in organizing and controlling inventory or materials in the warehouse. Deliver materials to various construction sites or projects as instructed by logistics. * 4\. Documentation and control: Record deliveries and pickups using waybills, delivery notes, or receipts. Obtain signed acknowledgments upon delivery of materials or equipment. * 5\. General support: Collaborate with the work team on minor tasks requiring physical or logistical assistance. Assist in cleaning or basic maintenance of the workplace or vehicle. * **Skills:** Safe and responsible driving of light and/or cargo vehicles. Knowledge of local and regional routes, as well as use of GPS or navigation apps. Efficient loading and unloading of materials or furniture, ensuring their integrity. Basic logistics organization (deliveries, pickups, priorities). Vehicle preventive inspection and maintenance (oil, tires, fluid levels, cleanliness). Proper use of loading equipment (hand trucks, straps, tarps, ropes, etc.). Ability to read and record delivery documents (delivery notes, waybills, invoices). * **Experience:** Loading and unloading of construction materials, furniture, or fragile goods. Safe maneuvering with forklifts, hand trucks, or manual equipment. Arranging and securing cargo inside the vehicle. Support in installations or deliveries at construction sites or projects. Operation of pickup trucks, panel vans, SUVs rated at 3½ tons, or light-duty trucks. Knowledge of local and out-of-town routes. Experience transporting materials, tools, or furniture. Use of GPS and digital maps to optimize delivery times.
