Justification of classification criteria before audits and authorities **Job Description:** *In our* ***domestic and international logistics company****, tariff classification is a critical point for the legal and fiscal security of each operation.* *We seek a* ***Customs Classifier*** *with solid technical judgment, capable of analyzing goods, justifying decisions before authorities, and reducing risks such as fines, corrections, and PAMA.* Key Responsibilities: * Assign tariff classifications in accordance with the TIGIE (General Import and Export Tax Law) and the Harmonized System. * Verify and apply Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions. * Accurately determine foreign trade contributions. * Provide technical support to traffic, customs assessment, and customs clearance. * Justify classification criteria before audits and authorities. Technical Profile: * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, or related field. * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. * Minimum 2 years of experience in tariff classification. * Experience in a customs brokerage firm or freight forwarder is desirable. * Knowledge of TIGIE, General Rules, Customs Law, and Non-Tariff Regulatory and Restrictive Measures (RRNA).
