(local residence or willingness to relocate preferred) **Work Model:** On-site \| Availability for planned/unplanned outages and shifts **Position Purpose** Ensure **availability, reliability, and safety** of the plant’s electrical systems (combined cycle) by leading maintenance, improvements, and projects in **medium/high voltage**, substations, and rotating equipment, optimizing costs while meeting technical and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead **electrical maintenance** (preventive, predictive, and corrective) of **substations (115–400 kV)**, **MCCs** (4\.16 kV / 480 V), **power transformers**, **MV/LV motors**, **generators**, and auxiliary systems. * Plan and execute **planned outages** (borescopes, hot parts inspections, testing, and commissioning) and respond to **unplanned outages**. * Coordinate **budgets**, **procurement management/purchase requisitions**, spare parts control, and **contractors** (including unionized personnel). * Develop **technical specifications**, scopes, and test protocols; validate reports and close work orders in **SAP PM/SCM**. * Supervise and/or perform **electrical tests** (insulation resistance, PI/ABS, Hi\-Pot, power factor, TTR, partial discharge) and switching operations in substations (including **SF6**). * Conduct **predictive monitoring** (vibration, ultrasound, thermography) and failure analysis (protections **SEL/Siemens**, SCADA, AVR e.g., **Unitrol**, ABB). * Ensure compliance with **electrical safety** (LOTO) and good operational practices. * Manage performance indicators for **reliability, availability, costs**, and **unserved energy**; propose cost-saving and modernization projects. * Technical coordination with **CFE/CENACE/LAPEM** as required for testing, interconnection, or regulatory compliance. * Lead the electrical team (workload planning, roles, and shifts) and develop suppliers. **Essential Requirements** * **Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering** (or related: Electromechanical/Mechatronics). * **5–10+ years** in **power generation** (combined cycle/cogeneration) focused on **electrical operation and maintenance**. * Proven experience in **high-voltage substations (≥115 kV up to 400 kV)** and **medium-voltage equipment (≥4\.16 kV)**. * Expertise in **transformers, MV/LV motors, large-capacity generators**, MCCs, and protection systems. * Comprehensive management of **budgets**, **procurement**, and **contractors**. * Proficient in **SAP PM** (work orders, scheduling, closures) and reporting tools. * Knowledge of **SCADA**, **protection relays** (SEL/Siemens), **AVR** (e.g., Unitrol/ABB), and **electrical testing**. * **Availability** to handle outages and emergencies, and to coordinate on-site activities. * **Desirable:** Specific experience in **C.C.C.
