**Job Overview:**
* Plan, direct, and supervise one or more projects within the discipline area under your responsibility to optimize all resources and increase productivity
* Supervise and validate technical and quality specifications in the electrical commissioning area during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases
* Issue progress and project compliance reports
* Supervise electrical commissioning foremen and technicians
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
* Report directly to the E\&I Superintendent and coordinate work plans
* Develop weekly work schedules based on the overall work plan, sharing required guidelines with your team for execution
* Conduct daily meetings with your team to review, assign, and track work schedules, resolve requirements, and provide improvement recommendations
* Hold daily and weekly meetings with all personnel under your supervision to discuss work production topics, administrative matters, and safety issues that contribute to team unity
* Supervise project execution, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, client requirements, and applicable standards to meet production plans on time and with quality
* Prepare daily and weekly objective-completion reports for the Instrumentation Superintendent via a daily activity report in Excel, emailed with progress updates and justifications for uncompleted activities, followed by a meeting with the Superintendent to clarify any need for guidance or support
* Ensure roles and responsibilities of your team members are clearly defined and properly communicated
* Comply with and enforce current McDermott policies, standards, procedures, and instructions, including: Code of Business and Labor Conduct, Conflict of Interest Policy, Employee Information Agreements, Internal Work Regulations, Health, Safety and Environment Regulations, and other company-defined documents
* Participate in weekly meetings with the Instrumentation Superintendent to review performance results and plan necessary actions
* Maintain continuous order and cleanliness in your assigned area
* Verify that every activity within the discipline remains within budget and on schedule
* Ensure seamless shift handover by establishing and maintaining effective communication channels at the supervisory level
* Organize required support for other disciplines
* Promote a culture of leading by example in all safety and safe-work-related matters
* Analyze and resolve work-related problems, assisting in resolving daily operational issues
* Serve as the first line of quality inspection for completed work
**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
* Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience performing duties related to this position and the discipline
Secondary school / electrician technician qualification or verifiable experience in this role
