**Supplier Quality Engineer** **Job Summary** If you are a supplier quality engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Guadalajara, MX, through collaborative relationships with the supplier \& Emerson team you will ensure Emerson requirements are understood and are successfully met in the suppliers current process. **In this role, your responsibilities will be:** * Responsible for ensuring supplier quality performance and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain. * Leads engineering initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and maintain compliance with industry standards. * Develops and implements quality systems, conducts supplier audits, and collaborates with cross\-functional teams to resolve technical issues. * Supports new product introduction and process validation while maintaining robust documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements. * Influences supplier selection and qualification for critical components. * Oversees manufacturing process improvements impacting cost, quality, and delivery. Works with suppliers and internal teams to achieve strategic objectives and ensure operational excellence. * **Who you are:** * Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. * Provides technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and quality specialists. May lead cross\-functional project teams and coordinate supplier improvement initiatives. Interfaces with suppliers, internal engineering, operations, and executive leadership. Maintains strong external partnerships to ensure compliance and performance. * **For this role, you will need:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred. * Minimum 7\+ years of experience in supplier quality and manufacturing engineering roles. * Expertise in quality management systems, root cause analysis, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies. **Preferred qualifications that set you a part:** Role requires occasional travel to supplier sites and manufacturing facilities.
