We are seeking a Mechanical Technician Cosoleacaque, Veracruz Job Summary *As a* ***Mechanical Technician,*** *you will join our* ***Maintenance team.*** *In this role, you will report to the* ***Mechanical Supervisor*** *and have the opportunity to carry out maintenance and repair work on the power plant’s mechanical equipment in accordance with standard procedures. Ensure tasks are performed with quality, timeliness, and technical accuracy. Support the Maintenance Lead in problem resolution and diagnostics, always with a strong emphasis on safety and operational excellence.* *Join us to drive the right power forward and make clean energy the natural choice for everyone!* Key Responsibilities: *You will be responsible for:* * Performing preventive and predictive maintenance tasks on equipment according to the maintenance plan. * Diagnosing and repairing plant equipment experiencing failures or malfunctioning. * Supervising and managing tasks outsourced to external contractors. * Implementing task standardizations as defined in the Work Permit procedure. * Participating in maintenance control points for problem resolution. * Preparing technical and/or repair reports of various types and collaborating in incident analysis and investigation. * Supporting your direct supervisors in developing Technical Procedures and Instructions, outage planning, maintenance plans, etc., proposing improvements where possible. * Using the SAP system to create Missing Notifications, work orders, material requests, etc., and performing supervisory duties when designated as substitute. * Performing authorized mechanical isolations on equipment to ensure safety prior to interventions. * Collaborating with the Shift Supervisor in developing procedures, technical operation instructions, and incident reports. * Reporting anomalies or failures detected during inspection rounds via the internal notification system (BFS). * Ensuring compliance with the plant’s established safety, environmental, and operational standards. * Following and adhering to Safety and Environmental guidelines and policies. * This position has authority to: N/A Requirements and Skills: * Academic background: Technical diploma or degree in fields such as Mechanics, Electricity, Electromechanics, Industrial Operations, or related disciplines. * Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in roles related to industrial plant operations, preferably in the energy, petrochemical, or chemical sectors. * Knowledge and experience in loading and unloading hazardous goods operations. * Ability to interpret technical instructions and operating procedures. * Ability to interpret technical instructions and operating procedures, read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P\&ID), and read basic single-line electrical diagrams.
