One way MML seeks to create a competitive advantage is through high-caliber leaders supported by well-designed people systems, resulting in a highly engaged, committed, and productive workforce.**Requirements:*** University degree in Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 5 years of experience in mining operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role. * Basic knowledge of mining software (Deswik, Leapfrog, MineSight). * Demonstrable experience supervising drilling, drill sample handling (Coreshack), and/or civil works within the mining context. * Knowledge of sample handling, storage, and labeling procedures in Coreshack. * Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations applicable to mining activities. * Leadership and multidisciplinary team management skills. * Ability to make rapid and effective decisions in complex operational situations. * Organizational and planning skills to coordinate multiple activities. * Effective communication skills—both verbal and written—to interact with various hierarchical levels and work teams. **Overall Coordination:*** Supervise Coreshack, drilling, and surface and underground operations, ensuring adherence to operational plans and objectives set for each area. * Ensure proper interaction and coordination among different operational teams (Coreshack, drilling, and surface and underground operations). * Ensure appropriate interaction with Environmental, Public Affairs, Industrial Safety, Mine Operations, and Planning departments (as applicable). * Manage scheduling and resource allocation for each area, guaranteeing timely delivery and compliance with quality standards. * Control material, human, and financial resources assigned to Coreshack, drilling, and surface and underground operations. * Ensure all activities are conducted within the approved budget, identifying and efficiently managing operational costs. * Generate and submit periodic reports on operational progress, team performance, and safety conditions. * Provide feedback to your supervisor and other departments regarding operational progress, issues or challenges encountered, and implemented solutions. * Execute quality control procedures in accordance with Mineral Resources Department guidelines for all sample handling activities in the Coreshack and Chain of Custody. * Continuously assess and improve operational processes, implementing enhancements to optimize productivity. **Leadership and Safety:*** Lead Coreshack and auxiliary staff, Underground Mine Geology staff, and contractors by providing technical and operational support. * Foster a collaborative and safe work environment, promoting compliance with safety rules and procedures across all areas under your responsibility. * Ensure team members and contractors maintain appropriate conduct to guarantee optimal team performance. * Promote and ensure implementation of safety, occupational health, and environmental policies and procedures across all operational activities. * Identify potential operational risks and take appropriate preventive measures to minimize accidents or incidents. * Conduct periodic inspections and verifications to confirm compliance with safety regulations and encourage ongoing staff training. **Coreshack Operations Management:*** Ensure proper receipt, storage, labeling, and handling of geology and operations samples. * Coordinate with the team to guarantee samples are processed and delivered according to project requirements. * Supervise maintenance and organization of the Coreshack area to maximize efficiency and minimize operational risks. **Drilling and Surface & Underground Operations:*** Supervise and coordinate drilling and civil works activities, ensuring compliance with production, safety, and environmental standards. * Ensure drilling and operational activities are performed efficiently, meeting planned targets and expected performance. * Manage civil works required for drilling activities—including drill pads, access roads, trenches, and mining infrastructure—ensuring completion within budget, compliance with environmental regulations, and adherence to scheduled timelines. * Monitor and control performance of drilling and civil works operations, ensuring compliance with quality and efficiency standards. * Ensure core orientation and geospatial surveying of drill holes (using compass, scanner, electronic tools). ***NOTE: Torex Gold Resources and its subsidiaries do not accept resumes from recruitment agencies that are not under an active contract and have not been designated as authorized partners to conduct searches.***
