Proposing improvements for efficiency and reduction of failures **GRUPO AJUSCO**, a leading company in **GRAPHIC ARTS**, is seeking: **MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT** **Job Objective:** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on essential support equipment for operations—primarily compressors, elevators, vehicle units, and general machinery—to guarantee their availability, safe operation, and efficiency. **Responsibilities:** * Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on: air compressors, elevators, internal transport units, machinery, and auxiliary equipment (pumps, fans, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, etc.) * Diagnose mechanical failures and inspect basic electrical systems. * Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance activities, spare parts, and intervention times. * Support installation, relocation, or adjustment of machinery. * Propose improvements to increase efficiency and reduce failures. * Comply with industrial safety protocols and lockout-tagout (LOTO). **Requirements** * Education: **Mechanical Engineer** or Higher Technician in Industrial Mechanics. * Experience: **1–2 years** in industrial maintenance (manufacturing sector preferred). * Knowledge of: * Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems * Interpretation of technical drawings and manuals * Use of hand and power tools * Basic combustion engine diagnostics (desirable) * Availability to work rotating shifts or respond to emergencies.
