




**Job Title:** ***KOSMOS WAREHOUSE TRAILER DRIVER*** **Department:** ***OPERATIONS*** ***Location: MIRK Plant – Morelia with national travel*** **Position Purpose:** *Ensure the collection, transportation, and delivery of goods (primarily recyclable materials) to warehouses nationwide, meeting established timelines, safety standards, material quality, and traffic regulations, contributing to the efficiency of the company's logistics chain.* **Main Responsibilities:** * Collect goods at designated supplier or customer locations. * Transport and deliver materials to company warehouses and strategic partners nationwide. * Verify the condition of goods before loading (dry, clean material without contaminants). * Ensure proper loading, securing, and protection of cargo inside the vehicle. * Review incoming and outgoing documentation (delivery notes, loading orders, proof of delivery). * Sign and deliver goods receipt and delivery documents to warehouse personnel. * Comply with routes and delivery times established by the logistics department. **Additional Supporting Activities** * Perform daily vehicle inspections (checking brakes, lights, tires, fuel, oil, etc.). * Report any mechanical anomalies or incidents on route to the appropriate department. * Keep the vehicle clean and safe. * Log mileage, loads, and deliveries completed. * Comply with federal and state traffic regulations as well as internal company policies. * Coordinate with the operations department for route adjustments or roadside emergencies. * Assist in unloading and handling cargo when necessary (using forklifts or manually, depending on process). * Provide courteous and professional treatment to suppliers, customers, and warehouse staff. * Ensure the security of transported goods, preventing loss or theft. **Required Profile:** **Education:** * Completed secondary or high school (desirable). **Experience** * 2 to 3 years of verifiable experience as a trailer driver in national freight transportation. * Experience in loading, unloading, and material stowage operations. **Technical Knowledge** * Operation of fifth-wheel trailers and dry vans. * Federal and state traffic regulations. * Use of travel logs and mileage reports. * Defensive driving and road safety. * Cargo and delivery documentation. **Skills and Competencies:** * Responsibility and commitment. * Punctuality and discipline. * Focus on road safety and material care. * Organization and route planning. * Assertive communication and teamwork. * Ability to solve problems on route. **Working Conditions:** * Schedule: Availability for national trips, including overnight stays. * Contract Type: Indefinite term (with initial probation period). * Assigned Equipment: Fifth-wheel trailer, GPS, travel logbook. * Internal Relationships: Operations coordinator, warehouse department. * External Relationships: Suppliers, customers, warehouse personnel.
