Responsibilities: As a **Facilities Maintenance Engineer** at Hines, your primary responsibilities—including but not limited to—will be: * Develop preventive maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance of critical equipment and systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, CCTV, mechanical, etc. * Respond to tenant service requests, ensuring all matters are handled per operational standards and identifying which items fall within or outside the scope of the contract. * Conduct routine site inspections to verify building operations comply with Hines Engineering standards; promptly escalate any faults or issues requiring attention to technical staff and/or contracted personnel as appropriate. * Prepare quotations for out-of-contract maintenance work where permitted—in properties where access to tenant-leased spaces is authorized. * Assign maintenance tasks to technical staff and oversee their daily performance, including establishing work plans, providing feedback, and delivering training. * Propose, document, and present capital projects—including cost estimation, quotation preparation, bidding processes, form completion, contract management, bond review, work order generation, proposal justification—and, upon approval, manage execution and generate progress reports. * Coordinate and supervise tenant-driven fit-out or renovation projects, including validation, approval, and construction oversight. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: **Minimum Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * Experience in real estate facilities maintenance. * Knowledge of safety and maintenance regulations. * Customer-service orientation. * Proficiency in English.
