Job Summary: We are seeking a Digital Pattern Maker with experience in the GERBER system to lead the migration from manual to digital pattern-making, creating and developing patterns for new designs. Requirements: • GERBER system knowledge is mandatory. • Fabric behavior and classification. • Garment manufacturing process control. • Knowledge of trims and notions. • Use of measurement charts and measurement techniques. • Fundamental grading knowledge. • Cutting, sewing, assembly, development, and material consumption of multi-style samples. • Pattern digitization and grading. • Operation of sewing machines (overlock, straight-stitch, buttonholer, collar attach machine) and stitch types. Responsibilities: • Leadership and guidance to transition the manual pattern-making team to digital pattern-making. • Create digital patterns for new designs using the GERBER system. • Interpret instructions received from designers to develop new patterns. • Inspect sample garments for approval and release to contract manufacturing per quality standards.
