Job Summary: We are seeking an HVAC Designer with experience in designing and installing engineering systems for building automation and knowledge of HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and installation of engineering systems for building automation. 2. Thermal load calculations and selection of HVAC equipment. 3. Engineering support for HVAC calculations and site visits. A well-established company with 34 years of experience providing design and installation services for building automation systems is seeking an: HVAC Designer REQUIRED EDUCATION: Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field. REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency in the following software is mandatory: AutoCAD (intermediate level), Revit, and Microsoft Office (intermediate level). Willingness to travel for project site visits across the country, with per diem provided. (If applicable.) Knowledge of: HVAC systems, thermal load calculation software such as HAP or equivalent, and ASHRAE and NFPA standards. Minimum 3 years of experience with HVAC systems. RESPONSIBILITIES: Performing thermal load calculations. Selecting HVAC equipment. Reviewing equipment selections provided by suppliers. Supporting drafting in AutoCAD and Revit. Assisting with HVAC engineering calculations. Supporting site visits. Assisting in preparing HVAC documentation (e.g., material catalogs, calculation reports, descriptive reports, etc.).
