OBJECTIVE: A GPS Modem Support Engineer (or Telemetry Technical Support Engineer) combines solid expertise in telecommunications, cellular networks, and tracking hardware with strong customer service and troubleshooting capabilities. ACTIVITIES: Essential Technical Knowledge: Cellular networks (2G, 3G, 4G, LTE/IoT) and SIM card operation. Communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT). GPS/Telemetry hardware (tracking modems, ignition sensors, panic buttons, fuel sensors). Basic automotive electricity knowledge (vehicle installation).
