Procurement Coordinator – Publishing Sector PROJECT-BASED VACANCY: January 2026 – November 2026 A leading company in the publishing industry is seeking to add a Procurement Coordinator to its team. This role is critical to ensuring the timely supply of materials, services, and resources that support the continuity of our editorial operations. Main Responsibilities Plan, manage, and execute procurement activities required for operations. Supervise and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring quality, service, and optimal costs. Negotiate and coordinate actions with strategic and sensitive suppliers. Manage the department’s budget, ensuring proper allocation and utilization. Authorize external services related to maintenance, packaging, and key supplies. Coordinate procurement for offices, distribution centers (CEDIS), and special events. Oversee reporting on KPIs, invoices, and payment controls. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Postgraduate studies or diploma in procurement preferred. More than 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics. Knowledge of Mexican Official Standards (NOM). Outstanding negotiation and decision-making skills. Service-oriented attitude and strong problem-solving ability. Advanced English Availability to commit time. Key collaboration with internal and external departments Executive Management, Finance, Sales, Operations, Logistics, and domestic suppliers.
