Summary: Seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to lead an MLOps squad within the Digital Data Science team, owning technical direction and bridging data science with production systems. Highlights: 1. Lead an MLOps squad in Digital Data Science for ecommerce search and discovery. 2. Own technical direction of machine learning infrastructure. 3. Bridge data science and production systems with strong leadership and expertise. We are looking for a Senior MLOps Engineer to lead our MLOps squad within the Digital Data Science team, supporting ecommerce search and discovery initiatives. In this role, you will own the technical direction of our machine learning infrastructure, guide a team of three MLOps engineers, and act as the bridge between data science and production systems. This position combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, ML Engineering, or Platform Engineering, with at least 2 years focused on ML infrastructure. Strong hands-on experience with GCP, especially Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Composer / Airflow, GCS, and Cloud Functions. Solid system design skills with experience building end-to-end ML platforms. Proficiency in Python and SQL. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. Proven technical leadership or mentoring experience (people management not required). Experience operating ML models in production: deployment, monitoring, versioning, rollback, and incident response. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business and data science needs into engineering solutions.
