Job Summary: We are seeking a bilingual Java developer to build, maintain, test, and debug application backends, implementing business logic and optimizing performance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Participate in the development of Java backend solutions. 2. Implement business logic and optimize performance. 3. Work with agile practices and version control systems. Bilingual Java Developer Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days per week in the CDMX office) · Requirements: Advanced English (mandatory) Bachelor’s degree in IT-related fields (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.). At least 5 years of experience as a Java developer, including database administration, code versioning, unit testing, problem-solving, and technical documentation writing. Prior experience in building, maintaining, testing, and debugging the entire backend of an application or preferably a payment system. - Experience with algorithmic solutions - Experience with data structures - Experience with version control systems (GIT) - Knowledge of architecture definition - Ability to read and define diagrams - Adoption of agile practices, with capacity to work independently and as part of an agile team. - Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience integrating data and applications. Implement business logic: Translate business requirements into code and functionality.
