Job Summary: We are seeking an API Developer to design, define, maintain, and develop API components, ensuring adherence to best practices and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. API Developer Work arrangement: Hybrid (2–3 days per week in the office) Location: Polanco/Reforma, CDMX · Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in API (REST) development. Knowledge / Skills: Designing and defining external APIs using the OpenAPI standard (Swagger / YAML). Creating and maintaining API specifications (endpoints, methods, input/output parameters, headers, and response codes). Developing internet-exposed API components, ensuring their correct functionality and performance. Ensuring adoption of best practices in API design (RESTful principles, versioning, security). Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for proper implementation of technological solutions. Experience with JavaScript (Node.js). Knowledge and experience with OpenAPI / Swagger (YAML). Understanding of system integration and API architecture.
