Responsible for the **upgrade, migration, operation, and optimization of the Java platform**, ensuring stability, security, and performance of production environments. **Requirements** * Solid experience in **Linux administration (Rocky / RHEL / CentOS)** * Experience with **Java platforms** (Java 11 / 17\). * Administration and tuning of **Apache Tomcat** * Proficiency with **PostgreSQL** (administration and optimization) * Knowledge of **Shell Scripting (Bash)** * Experience in **technical migrations and platform modernization** * Knowledge of **security and hardening** in Linux and Java environments **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the **operating system migration** to **Rocky Linux 9**, including locale and timezone configuration. * Upgrade the **Java platform from Java 7 to Java 17\+**, adapting installation and validation scripts. * Migrate and configure **Apache Tomcat 7 to Tomcat 10\+** (server.xml, context.xml, deployments, and secure shutdown). * Upgrade **PostgreSQL 10 to PostgreSQL 16**, optimizing parameters and access configurations. * Tune **memory and Garbage Collector** parameters in Tomcat. * Configure **ulimit** according to maxThreads. * Implement **firewall rules** (22, 80, 443\) and security hardening. * Ensure platform stability, performance, and security. **Desirable** * Experience in **on-premise** environments * Familiarity with **SCRUM** methodologies * Experience in **government, healthcare, or banking** sectors We offer: · Competitive salary, 100% on payroll · Statutory benefits · Major medical expense insurance · Life insurance · Discount card program "Personal data collected via resumes will be used for the purposes outlined in our comprehensive Privacy Notice for candidates, available on our website."
