In SSOE Group Mexico we are seeking a **Electrical Engineer as Electrical Associate in Engineering projects** with 7 or more years of experience in the design of power, lighting, and grounding systems for commercial facilities such as hospitals, airports, educational buildings, and corporate offices. . As a key technical leader within our integrated design teams, you will oversee electrical design efforts, mentor team members, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure the highest standards of technical quality and innovation. . . The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment. * Lead the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale commercial projects, including power distribution (medium and low voltage), lighting, fire alarm, data/communications, and grounding systems. * Manage and execute design deliverables using Revit / BIM platforms, applying SSOE standards for model quality and coordination. * Perform and review load calculations, short-circuit and coordination studies, and lighting analysis using industry software. * Ensure electrical designs align with all applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IES, local jurisdictional requirements). * Serve as discipline lead on complex project planning tasks, overseeing junior engineers/designers, and reviewing design documentation for accuracy. * Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams to deliver coordinated, efficient building designs. * Participate in client engagement: define project scope, present design progress, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. * Develop or review technical specifications and cost estimates. * Mentor emerging designers and engineers, promoting technical excellence and knowledge sharing. * Support project management and business development activities as needed. * Occasional travel for coordination workshops. . . **What You Will Bring:** * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, electromechanical engineering, mechatronics or any other related discipline to electrical engineering * **7+ years** of relevant electrical design experience within the AEC industry, with a focus on large facilities (Automotive Plants, Industrial Warehouses, Manufacturing plants, mixed-use buildings). * Experience in power distribution, lighting, grounding, and medium and low-voltage systems design. * Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and related BIM coordination tools. * Familiarity with industry software such as SKM Power Tools, ETAP, Easy Power, or AGi32. * Understanding of NEC, NFPA, IES, and applicable energy codes. * Ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and manage deliverables for multiple concurrent projects. * **Conversational English level (Reporting to US)** . . **Locations** We have 2 offices in Mexico, you can be based at either one: * León, Gto / **(Hybrid weekly schedule)** * Chihuahua, Chih / **(Hybrid weekly schedule)** . **What We Bring:** * + Monthly based gross salary + Major and Minor medical expenses insurance + Dental and Visual insurance (Family Plan) + Annual Check-up + Life insurance + 20 Days as Christmas Bonus + Vacation premium above the law + Food Coupons. + Career Development + Training and Education. . . **Additional Perks Offered:** * Hybrid Work Model, flexibility to work from home, allowing for a better work-life balance.
