Job Summary: Engineer responsible for production support, process development and optimization, and plant project support for continuous improvement and metric compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Production support and line improvement 2. Time and motion analysis and cost reduction 3. Equipment validation and personnel training Description and details of activities * Responsible for providing production support, developing and optimizing production processes based on established procedures and standards, and also supporting projects in different areas of the plant. * Production support to meet performance and quality metrics * Production lines improvement * New products introduction support * Operations and process standardization * Analysis of times and movements * Provide corrective and preventive actions * Improve ProTrack system utilization * Equipment and material validations * Provide training to production and engineering personnel as required * Cost reduction projects * Support and participate in the 5s program and Kaizen events * Responsible for following the codes of conduct, regulations and policies of Medline * Others responsibilities that could be assigned in the procedures of the quality system * Cost Reductions * Quality\-Reduce PPMs * Improve metrics of Actual Performance and Utilization in Protrack for operations that use it or metric of Boxes per hour \- man for operations that do not use Protrack * Compliance with program 5's * Quality Management System * Process and Equipment Validations Experience and Requirements * Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electronic, mechanic, mechatronic, electromechanic, computer system) * 5\+ Years in Engineering * English ADVANCED Process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ)* \-Desirable * Lean Manufacturing, 5s * ISO 13485 \- Desirable * AUTOCAD, Solidworks, AS400 * Office windows: Excel, Power Point etc, Advanced Benefits * Benefits according to LFT **Number of vacancies** 1 **Area** Engineering **Contract** Permanent **Modality** On-site **Shift** Night **Work schedule** Full-time **Education** Professional degree **English** Spoken: Advanced, Written: Advanced **Availability to travel** No
