**Join Hospital de la Familia MAC Mexicali!** We are seeking your talent as a: **"Clinical Chemist"** **Work Schedule:** * Morning shift: 07:00 to 15:00 * Afternoon shift: 14:30 to 22:00 * Night shift: 21:30 to 07:30 for A and B on-call duties **Requirements:** * Clinical Chemist, Clinical Biochemist, Pharmaceutical Biologist, or Parasitological Bacteriologist. (Degree and professional license). * Full schedule availability * Minimum 2 years of hospital experience in pediatric and geriatric patient sample collection, processing samples on automated, semi-automated, and manual instruments, and knowledge of internal quality control, including criteria for inclusion and exclusion of biological samples. * English \- Intermediate **Responsibilities:** * Collect samples from inpatients and outpatients, and process biological samples using automated, semi-automated, and manual equipment as applicable, applying calibration and quality control knowledge, and ensuring proper use of instruments and reagents during analysis. * Ensure phlebotomy procedures comply with laboratory best practices. * Operate the hospital’s and laboratory’s information systems. * Ensure optimal equipment performance and test execution. * Validate and report results; notify critical values; participate in the quality management system. * Use laboratory reagents and materials appropriately. * Perform sample collection ensuring high-quality specimens—from patient preparation, collection, conditioning, through delivery to the technical area. * Confirm that test orders entered into the system match physician or patient requests and are correctly registered in the laboratory information system for processing. * Perform preventive maintenance on instruments, calibrations, and internal and external quality control for performed tests. * Review and release results promptly, performing clinical correlation with other laboratory tests. * Confirm alert values and notify the attending physician, on-call physician, nursing staff, and/or patient as applicable. **WE OFFER:** * Base salary \+ Attendance bonus \+ Punctuality bonus \+ Grocery vouchers * Statutory benefits *Interested candidates meeting the profile should submit an updated CV.
