Job Summary:
A Process Engineer controls and improves manufacturing, assembly, and packaging operations, ensuring compliance with specific customer requirements.

Job Objective:
The Process Engineer controls and improves established processes for manufacturing, assembly, testing, packaging, and inspection of products. Process management aims to meet specific customer requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain up-to-date Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA) for models under their responsibility.
* Resolve problems using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, DMAIC, A3, etc.
* Prepare and maintain process documentation (work instructions, process parameter sheets, production reports).
* Keep bill-of-materials lists updated.
* Develop routings for various assemblies, defining Hours/1000\.
* Lead product and manufacturing process launches or transfers.
* Balance production lines.
* Coordinate with Quality Engineering for evaluation of nonconforming material.
* Lead meetings with suppliers and customers in English.
* Identify improvement opportunities and implement them as projects (Transportation, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Overproduction, Overprocessing, Defects, and Skills), demonstrating annual savings of $50,000 USD.
* Prepare CAPEX requests.
* Lead working meetings at all organizational levels.
* Prepare executive presentations for high-impact situations affecting the organization.
* Identify, analyze, and manage issues and risks.
* Develop and track metric improvement plans.
* Lead lean manufacturing projects (5S, SMED, Kanban, Hoshin Kanri, Visual Management Andon, etc.).
* Make decisions based on statistical tools.
Requirements
English C2 professional level (spoken, written, and reading)
3–5 years of experience in similar roles: Process Engineer, Project Engineer, or Manufacturing Engineer
Certifications in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
