Req ID: 76222 **Equipment Engineering Technician** ----------------------------------- Electronic Equipment Maintenance Engineer / Electronic Equipment Maintenance Manager **Responsibilities** --------------------- **1\.\- Performs predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.** **2\.\- Executes setup changes required by production.** **3\.\- Proposes equipment improvement projects.** **4\.\- Prepares daily maintenance reports.** **5\.\- Verifies scheduling of preventive maintenance for equipment.** **6\.\- Identifies failures and performs corrective maintenance on production equipment.** **7\.\- Uses diagrams and interprets them to carry out corrective maintenance activities.** **8\.\- Conducts setup tests to verify operation and/or identify equipment failures.** **9\.\- Performs manual assembly of small components using a microscope. **Required Experience and Skills** ---------------------------------------- **Education:** High school diploma completed; preferably a Technical Degree in Electronics, Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or partial completion of a degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering. **Experience:** In electronic equipment maintenance and use of measurement equipment, experience working in multifunctional teams. **Desired Experience and Skills** -------------------------------------- * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Visual acuity to see devices smaller than 1mm under a microscope * Fine manual dexterity for using mechanical tools and assembling micro components using a microscope * Knowledge in Interpretation of Electronic Drawings * Soldering skills and familiarity with measuring tools (micrometer and vernier)
