Job Description and Responsibilities The Process Engineer is responsible for defining, developing, validating, and optimizing manufacturing processes for communication cable production, ensuring technical process robustness, compliance with product specifications, and operational stability. This position has a highly technical focus, serving as the process expert, providing specialized technical support to production, leading the resolution of complex technical issues, implementing engineering changes, and validating manufacturing equipment and methods. The role closely collaborates with Product Engineering, Quality, Electrical Testing, and Production, participating in new product launches and process transfers. * Define and validate manufacturing processes from a technical perspective. * Establish and control critical process parameters. * Provide specialized technical support to production for complex issues. * Lead technical failure analysis and corrective actions. * Develop and maintain advanced technical process documentation. * Actively participate in NPI and process transfers. * Validate manufacturing equipment, tooling, and methods. * Coordinate and implement engineering changes (ECR/ECO). * Ensure process stability and capability. * Collaborate with Quality on audits and technical analyses. * Propose and implement technical process improvements. * Train technical and operational staff on process-related topics. Experience and Requirements * Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronic, Industrial Engineering or related field * 4 to 8 years of experience in Process Engineering. * Proven experience in technical processes for communication cables, harnesses, or the electronics industry. * Experience in NPI, process transfers, and validations.
