If you’re ready to contribute to something bigger than yourself and help **transform the future of healthcare**, you’ll find your purpose here. ### **Job Description** **Primary Job Function:** The Materials Handler 1 is an entry-level position responsible for performing basic materials handling tasks to support production operations and other internal customers. Following initial orientation, the Materials Handler 1 will receive training to perform one or more of the following tasks: parts storage, parts replenishment, and parts kit preparation. Materials Handler responsibilities include: MRP material transactions (including timeliness and accuracy of data entry), inventory counting and verification, and supporting daily manufacturing needs across the warehouse. **Key Responsibilities & Duties:** * Handle, verify, move, and transact materials quickly, efficiently, and accurately. * Store and process incoming materials and verify part numbers, quantities, and lot/serial numbers (including labeling and certifications) to support FIFO methodology. * Pull, prepare, and deliver materials for work orders and cover shortages. * Follow specified routes within the manufacturing facility to replenish materials. * Use operational software to record data transactions (receipts, transfers, shipments). * Maintain safety and organization in the warehouse per 5S principles. * Operate material handling equipment (forklifts and pallet jacks) per safety policy. * Identify and communicate issues disrupting operational supply or material movement that may escalate into broader operational issues in Mexicali. * Comply with materials management policies and procedures. * Meet employee training and recordkeeping requirements. ### **Qualifications** **Skills, Experience, Education & Training:** * High school diploma or equivalent * Basic knowledge of warehousing, materials handling, and inventory control * Prior experience or certification in operating material handling equipment is a plus * Ability to frequently lift heavy materials or equipment on a daily basis * Frequent walking and repetitive physical movements required (bending, stooping, lifting objects) (at least 70% of working hours) * Safety footwear, safety gloves, and cleanroom gowning are required * Demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks with accuracy and attention to detail * Computer proficiency, including MS Office products and ERP systems (e.g., SAP), is a plus * Verbal and written communication skills ### **Additional Information** Intuitive is an equal opportunity employer.
